In 1966, the Bilderberg gained de facto control over the post of NATO Secretary General. |
In 1966 the agenda of the Bilderberg asked "Should NATO be reorganized and if so how?". Since then, all permanent NATO Secretary Generals have been former Bilderberg Guests.

At the 1966 Bilderberg conference, the first item on the agenda was "Should NATO be reorganized and if so how?", proposed by Robert R. Bowie.[1] Since that date, all permanent appointments to the post of NATO Secretary General have been men who attended the Bilderberg before being appointed to the job.
