A mountainous, hence easily defended country in central Europe which has established itself as a world banking center. |
Switzerland is a small, historically neutral, mountainous country in central Europe. It was one of the first three countries which complied with the European Parliament's directive to investigate Operation Gladio.[1]
Contents
History
Switzerland's mountainous (easily defended) nature recommends it as a haven for cash. Together with banking secrecy laws, this has made it the destination of choice for people secreting money, e.g. to avoid accountability. It was neutral in WWI and WWII.
After the 1990s, the banking secrecy laws have been hollowed out, after heavy US pressure. Now the US government has the right to inspect Swiss bank accounts on demand, a privilege not given to most other countries.
- A memorandum from Bernard Montgomery to Prime Minister Anthony Eden, which historian Mauro Mantovani discovered in a British archive in 1995, revealed that Switzerland was not a neutral country. According to it, the Swiss Defense Minister Paul Chaudet had assured Monty in 1956: "If war ever breaks out in Europe, Switzerland will join the Western alliance."[2]

Financial Fraud
Banking secrecy laws mean that Switzerland is an attractive location for funds of uncertain origins.
Bearer Bonds
The Swiss-Italian border became notorious after border guards caught people attempting or suspected of planning to take bearer bonds from Italy to Switzerland. The amounts involved are quite staggering - one hundred billion dollars or more, on even trillions of US dollars.[3][4][5][6]
The general pattern is that the perpetrators to be arrested, but names and/or nationalities and other basic information not to be disclosed, and the commercially-controlled media to quickly lose interest in the story. The involved parties are often released for undisclosed reasons - quite consistent with the thesis that these are the visible traces of large financial crimes by deep state run groups.
COVID-19
Bilderberger Christoph Franz, as Hoffmann-La Roche President, called for mandatory injections in Switzerland.[7] His vice-chair, fellow Bilderberger André Hoffmann, was a WEF trustee.
School
Compulsory school attendance is 9 years, lower in Switzerland than many other nation states.[8]

The Swiss government imprisoned Dr. Mohamed El Ghanem, an Egyptian refugee, without charge for seven years, from 2007 through 2013, after he refused to spy on Geneva's Muslim community leaders. He was released after the Swiss Supreme Court ruled his detention wrongful, and required he be released in October 2013.
