Bilderberg

Anthony Eden was one of only 4 UK Prime ministers since the group was set up who did not attend a Bilderberg conference. (The others being his predecessor, Winston Churchill, his successor Harold Macmillan as well as John Major). One of his sons however, Nicholas Eden, attended the 1979 Bilderberg.

Sexual peccadilloes

Peter Wright wrote in Spycatcher how "Victor knew better than any outsider just what damage Anthony Blunt could do...there was the horrendous possibility that he might name fellow conspirators, both living and dead, as well as the chance that he might choose to to leave a more intimate record of the halycon days of the 1930s. More than a handful of reputations stood to suffer if their sexual peccadilloes from that time were circulated on Fleet Street, no least the former Prime Minister, Anthony Eden"
