Giuliano da Empoli is a political essayist, journalist and novelist. He was born in France and holds Italian and Swiss citizenship. He is the founder and president of Volta, a think tank based in Milan. The financing of the think-tank is not disclosed on its website.
He attended the 2023 Bilderberg meeting.
Attainments
In 2022, his debut novel Le mage du Kremlin (the Kremlin Whisperer) was published, for which he received the Grand Prix du roman de l'académie française 2022, and other literary prizes. He wrote that "Putin only understands the language of violence"[1]
