Libya
Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg was the most important promoter when Norway went to war against Libya in 2011. Norway joined the alliance that intervened in Libya on alleged humanitarian grounds, and during the war dropped 567 bombs, the largest Norwegian war effort since World War II, and contributed directly to Stoltenberg later getting the prestigious position as Secretary General of NATO.
In a conversation with a Swedish colleague, Stoltenberg cynically justified the Libya bombing by saying that the war was "excellent training for the Norwegian Air Force".[1]
Connections
As is standard for NATO Secretaries General, Jens Stoltenberg attended the Bilderberg group prior to being appointed (in 2002, and possibly in other years as well).[2][3]
Jens Stoltenberg is son of former Foreign Minister and deep state operative Thorvald Stoltenberg.
