He is brother of Jeb Bush, former Governor of Florida. George Bush Jr. is son of a lifelong intelligence operative, George (H. W.) Bush Sr. He was sent to Yale university where (like his father and grandfather) he became a member of the Skull and Bones society. He went to Harvard Business school, but showed little aptitude for business. This did not stop him following the pattern set by his father, of using business as a cover for other activities.

Texas governor

When he was Governor of Texas 1995-2000, he also presided over 152 executions, the highest number for any governor in modern American history and more than any other state leader during that period. One notable - and curious - exception was Henry Lee Lucas, who at various times confessed to up to like 600 of the most brutal, horrendous serial killings imaginable. Out of all the people who came before George Bush to have their cases reviewed, he was the only one granted a pardon. Dave McGowan concluded that he was killing on behalf of a cult, and that his victims were in fact targeted for specific purposes, and that his job basically was to make them look like random, senseless killings, when in fact many of them had specific motives.

2004 US Presidential Election
