Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld (later Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands; German: Bernhard Friedrich Eberhard Leopold Julius Kurt Carl Gottfried Peter Graf von Biesterfeld; 29 June 1911 – 1 December 2004) was the consort of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands and father of her four children, including the former Queen of the Netherlands, Princess Beatrix.

Activities
Bernhard repeatedly denied being a member of the Nazi Party, but a 2014 article in the Daily Mirror claimed that "membership documents were found in Berlin's Humboldt University by historian Annejet van der Zijl, proving he was in the party until 1934."[1]
Bernhard appeared to have been part of bodyguard-unit of Hitler and/or a associate during the 1930s. Multiple national and international newspapers reported incidents that were resolved with intervention with Bernhard, named an SS-member multiple times mentioned in diplomatic telegrams and NSDAP member. Bernhard has never denied to not have been a part of the SA or SS or to been part of the Night of the Long Knives although the Dutch official narrative maintains Bernhard's SS-division was more of a "motor-club".[2][3]
Bernhard allegedly send a secret letter to Adolf Hitler requesting to become "Head of State under the German Reich" if the Germans would - after discussing it with the British - pull out of the Netherlands in 1942, even having the CIA involved after their formation when this rumour was still heard of in the 1970s according to a French secret agent working for a well-known Dutch newspaper. [4]
Groups
He started the 1001 Club and co-founded the Bilderberg meeting. He also helped found the World Wildlife Fund (later renamed World Wide Fund for Nature).
Arms dealing
Cercle visitor, Frans Otten may have assisted his arms dealing.[5]

Prince Bernhard publicly denied wrongdoing during his lifetime, but but two days after his death, interviews were published showing that he admitted taking a $1.1 million bribe from Lockheed to ensure the Lockheed F-104 would win out over the Mirage 5 for the purchase contract. He said: "I have accepted that the word Lockheed will be carved on my tombstone."[6]

Dries van Agt | “Marcel van Dam had the for many plausible opinion that the Prince of the Netherlands should be handled by the Dutch State as every other citizen. So to be brought before trial. I, as Minister of Justice didn't think that was completely unreasonable.” | Dries van Agt | 2005 |
Klaas Bruinsma | “Who is to say that Abbas, Bruinsma and "the Hakkelaar" weren't used as pawns in a game much larger than they were, much as Mink Kok seems to have been used time and again? They are allowed to flourish a little bit, receive a little protection, a little legal aid, and when their time is up some rival gang takes them out and that one gets the protection when necessary. It's entirely possible. But where would the manipulation of these mafia groups come from? Most likely CIA Gladio/"stay behind" networks, which, during the Cold War, revolved around Prince Bernhard and individuals as Bib van Lanschot and Cees van den Heuvel.” | Joël van der Reijden ISGP Klaas Bruinsma | 2014 |
Netherlands/Deep state/Functions | “The accusations against Bruinsma, Geerts, Scala and Videorama speak for themselves. And this same group has its ties to members of the Dutch royal family. Not mentioned yet, in 1989 Geerts put up a $500,000 bail for U.S. porn boss Reuben Sturman, a good friend of his. Back in the 1970s and 1980s Sturman and his partner Robert DiBernardo, both working for the Gambino crime family (DiBernardo was murdered on orders of John Gotti, soon after he (once again) was indicted for production and distribution of child pornography), maintained a virtual monopoly on the hardcore porn industry in the United States. They were also repeatedly accused of involvement in the production and distribution of child pornography, which until the late 1970s still was somewhat sanctioned. A gigantic portion of this type of material actually was imported from the Netherlands at the time.” | Joël van der Reijden | October 2014 |
Joël van der Reijden | “There most certainly is evidence that quite a bit of child abuse takes place at the highest level of society and that people in this milieu for the most part care little about this problem. Also, there have been very demonstrable ties between the royal house of Orange, Klaas Bruinsma-Etienne Urka-John Engelsma-Charles Geerts Maffia and Intelligence & Operations. This last group was the Dutch brand of CIA Operation Gladio/"Stay Behind" network. These ties have to be investigated much deeper, because it appears that it's from this milieu that a lot of manipulation of the Dutch state has taken place, seemingly including paedophile entrapment operations. And isn't it just really strange that all Dutch names that have been leaked over the years with regard to paedophilia include homosexuals?” | Joël van der Reijden | October 2014 |
Józef Retinger | “At the time his Bilderberg project took form the Korean War was ending and US Marshall Plan aid to Europe as well. Józef Hieronim Retinger had spent the war years in London as adviser to the exile government of Prime Minister General Wladyslaw Sikorski. While Retinger’s name was virtually unknown to the world at large, he was one of the most influential string-pullers of the postwar period in Europe and the United States. He was able to get private audiences with the Pope as well as the American President at will. It was he who selected Prince Bernhard to act as figurehead host and who selected which Americans and which Europeans would be invited to Bilderberg.” | Józef Retinger William Engdahl | 17 December 2016 |
Joop Den Uyl | “Of course he belongs in jail, but you can't jail the husband of the head of state. So I have to think of something else.” | Joop Den Uyl | 2005 |
Henk Vredeling | “Juliana began to cry. I told her, it's a different coalition now. I told Bernhard. It will be civil manifestation. I decide. And nobody else. He became as gentle as a lamb. A typical kraut. One of "Befehl ist befehl", "gehorsamt ist gehorsamt". He gets off on his uniform.” | Henk Vredeling | 1985 |
Juliana Wilhelmina | “I'm eternally grateful for the "heavy" operation that you conducted on my husband and that led to his recovery. Your old "confident" Juliana.” | Juliana Wilhelmina | 1987 |
