DescriptionThe 57th Bilderberg

The 57th Bilderberg meeting was held from 14-17 May 2009, the last Bilderberg not to take place in June. It had participants from European countries, the United States and Canada. It was held at Vouliagmeni, Greece. The 124 guests included 42 business executives, 28 politicians, 7 financiers, 18 editors/journalists and 7 academics.

Exposure

Veteran Bilderberg watcher Jim Tucker published a piece in the American Free Press about the 2009 Bilderberg entitled Bilderberg Agenda Exposed.[1] Back in 2009, public awareness about the group was still low, but perhaps anticipating wider exposure, in November 2009, the domain BilderbergMeetings.org was registered, presumably by a Bilderberg insider, where details of subsequent meetings have been posted.

Agenda

The 2009 Bilderberg Agenda has not been leaked, but the website at Bilderberg Meetings has posted an agenda.

1. Governments and Markets

2. After the G20: The Role of Institutions

3. Protectionism: How Serious?

4. Cyber-terrorism: Strategy and Policy

5. Sustainability: Post-Kyoto Challenges

6. Iraq: Role and Responsibilities in the Region

7. Afghanistan and Pakistan

8. A New Order: The United States and the World

9. Lessons from a Crisis

10. Challenge to Market Economies and Democracies

11. Russia and China: New Imperialisms

12. Current Affairs: How does Industry See the Future?
