The 2013 Bilderberg Meeting was held in UK, England, amid considerable protest. The 137 guests included 54 business executives, 34 politicians, 11 financiers, 10 editors/journalists and 7 academics. The next meeting was the 2014 Bilderberg.
Protests
Many people turned up to protest the meeting. The Bilderberg organisers paid £0.5M out of a total of £1.3M expenses for policing the June 2013 Bilderberg meeting.[1] Expenses included builing a “Great Wall of Watford” around the premises of the hotel.

For the first time, a list of expected delegates was published by the Bilderberg Group. The Daily Mail published it two days before he start of the conference and commented that the group "has a shadowy reputation which has come under scrutiny in recent years, forcing organisers to be more open."[2][3]
The police operation for the Bilderberg conference was called Operation Discuss, and had been running for eighteen months prior to the start of the conference.[4]
