Gianfelice Rocca is an Italian billionaire businessman. He is chairman of the Techint Group and Istituto Clinico Humanitas, one of Italy's largest private health corporations. Humanitas built and operated several emergency hospitals in Italy during Covid, including in Bergamo[1][2].

He is a member of the Trilateral Commission and Aspen Italia, has high positions in the Confindustria business association[3], and has attended three Bilderberg meetings, in 2010, 2013 and 2015.

Techint Group

Gianfelice Rocca and his brother Paolo oversee the Techint Group, a global conglomerate founded by their grandfather, industrialist Agostino Rocca. Agostino helped build Italy's steel industry in the 1930s for Mussolini in the build-up to World War 2, then launched the Techint Group in Argentina in 1945[4] after making a prudent exit from Italy.

The Techint Group companies operate in steel production, engineering and construction projects, mining, oil and gas and the Italian hospital and healthcare sector. In all the Techint Group pulls in more than $22 billion in annual sales and employs about 52,000 people globally.][4]

Paolo, who is the CEO, resides in Argentina; Gianfelice heads the group's healthcare company, Humanitas, from Italy.[4]

In 2021, Gianfelice Rocca had become Special Advisor Life Sciences for Confindustria[5]
