The 1965 Bilderberg Meeting was the 14th such meeting and had participants from 15 European countries, the United States, Canada and "various international organisations".[1] It was held at the Villa d'Este, near Como, in Italy. The 87 guests included 17 business executives, 31 politicians, 5 financiers, 6 editors/journalists and 4 academics.

1. Monetary Co-operation in the Western World
Emile van Lennep gave a paper on Monetary Cooperation in the Western World[2] and an American made an oral statement before the discussion.
2. The State of the Atlantic Alliance
Ernst H. van der Beugel gave a paper on The State of the Alliance[2] and an American made an oral statement before the discussion.
Vietnam War
Independently of the meeting, an American participant submitted a statement on his Government's policy in Vietnam.
