I believed in digital utopias. The current development appalled me and still appalls me. Especially because I have the impression that the victims are many, starting with me. In this essay, I wanted to tell how we went from the utopia of the beginnings, where the web was perceived as emancipatory, to a situation where we talk about addiction, fake news... When we are over-solicited , that you get up at night to look at your cell phone, that a family meal is impossible without smartphones, there has undeniably been a departure from the track. That said, the success of the book also comes from the fact that we put words to a phenomenon that everyone perceived. The challenge was to bring out this debate.[1]
