The Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), officially the John F. Kennedy School of Government, is the school of public policy and government of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is used by the CIA to recruit vast amounts of high-profile or soon-to-be-high-profile foreign leaders.
Harvard Kennedy School alumni has over 63,000 alumni, which includes 21 heads of state or government from around the world. Alumni also include cabinet officials, military leaders, heads of central banks, and legislators.

Official narrative
The school offers master's degrees in public policy, public administration, and international development, four doctoral degrees, and various executive education programs. It conducts research in subjects relating to politics, government, international affairs, and economics.[1][2]
Harvard Kennedy School is home to 14 centers, including the spooky Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, the Center for Public Leadership, Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, Institute of Politics, and Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.
CIA recruitment of foreign leaders
Harvard allows the CIA to send officers to the midcareer program at the Kennedy School of Government while continuing to act undercover, with the school's knowledge. When the officers apply - often with fudged credentials that are part of their CIA cover -- the university doesn't know they're CIA agents, but once they're in, Harvard allows them to tell the university that they’re undercover. Their fellow students, however - often high-profile or soon-to-be-high-profile foreign leaders - are kept in the dark.[3]
Daniel Golden, in his book Spy Schools: How the CIA, FBI and Foreign Intelligence Secretly Exploit America’s Universities writes how "Kenneth Moskow is one of a long line of CIA officers who have enrolled undercover at the Kennedy School, generally with Harvard’s knowledge and approval, gaining access to up-and-comers worldwide. For four decades the CIA and Harvard have concealed this practice".[3]
In 2008, when Kenneth Moskow died in a mountain climbing accident, many of his former classmates in the midcareer program at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government were startled to learn from the obituaries that he had been a top CIA spy. He had told them, and his professors, that he worked for the State Department — it was the same cover he used on assignment in Spain and Cyprus — and the school’s photo roster listed him that way. The pretense likely helped him cultivate foreign classmates, including ex–Guatemalan defense minister Héctor Gramajo and José María Figueres, who was soon to become president of Costa Rica.[4]
Presumably it has plenty of domestic spook recruitment as well.

The Robert and Renée Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs (also known as the Belfer Center) is a permanent research center located within the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Showing that the research is clearly in support of US militarism and regime changes, the center is led by Director Ash Carter, former US Secretary of Defense and Co-Director Eric Rosenbach, former Assistant Secretary of Defense. John Deutch, former director of the CIA, is on the board.
Young Global Leaders
The Harvard Kennedy Magazine of Summer 2009[5] wrote that "Through Alumni and Teaching Harvard Kennedy School plays a central role in the Forum of Young Global Leaders Program," with the author, Steve Nadis writing: "In 2004, Klaus Schwab MC/MPA 1967, a Harvard Kennedy School graduate who founded the World Economic Forum (WEF), won a $1 million prize from the Dan David Foundation and tried to think of the best use to which he could put that money. Schwab decided to start a WEF-affiliated program called the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), which, as the name implies, would bring together a new generation of leaders from across the globe and turn them loose on the biggest problems of the day."[6]
Les Wexner and Jeffrey Epstein
Leslie Wexner (of Jeffrey Epstein fame) has donated more than $40 million to the Kennedy School and has a building named after him. In 1989, the Wexner Israel Fellowship program was created to specifically "support up to 10 outstanding Israeli public officials earning their Mid-Career Master of Public Administration (MC/MPA) at Harvard Kennedy School." Among the 10 fellows who come annually are ministry officials, local government representatives, policy analysts, and directors of nonprofits, as well as members of the Mossad, the Israel Defense Forces, and the Shin Bet security service.
Robert Belfer, David Rubenstein and Idan Ofer
According to Stephen Walt, whose book The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy was highly critical of the Lobby, "Another prominent donor is Robert Belfer, who has donated more than $20 million to the Kennedy School, as well as donating to the ADL and the American Jewish Committee. Belfer's influence at the Kennedy School extends far beyond his center (the Belfer Center). He and his son Laurence sit on the Dean’s Executive Board - "a small group of business and philanthropic leaders who serve as trusted advisors to the Dean and are among the most committed financial supporters of the School," according to its site. The board’s chair, David Rubenstein, is the cofounder and former CEO of the Carlyle Group, the private equity giant, and one of the most well-connected members of the US financial and cultural elite; among the many prestigious boards on which he sits is the Harvard Corporation, the university’s main governing body."[7]
The 16 members of the Dean's Executive Board also include Idan Ofer and his wife, Batia. Idan is the son of Sammy Ofer, an Israeli shipping magnate who until his death in 2011 was one of Israel’s richest men.[7]
