MIT Center for International Studies
The MIT Center for International Studies (CIS) is an academic research center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Its creation in 1951 was originally funded by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in order to provide expert analysis on issues pertaining to the Cold War rivalry with the Soviet Union.[3]
