Announced around 10 weeks before 9/11 that "Whatever they're going to blame on Usama bin Laden - don't you believe it...They will soon do something outlandish to gain the support of the Sheeple". He was killed by the US Marshals Service less than two months after the event.

Milton William Cooper, or Bill Cooper was an American educator, radio broadcaster, conspiracy theorist and man of the militia.

Life

Not much is known about Cooper's background and education, beyond the information supplied in his own accounts. He claimed to have served in the United States Navy, the United States Air Force, and Naval Intelligence until his discharge in 1975; however, public records only indicate a period of service in the Navy with a ratings code of E-5/Sergeant (Petty officer second class in the Navy), including a tour of duty in Vietnam with two service medals. He then attended a junior college in California, and worked for several technical and vocational schools before making his conspiracy theories known, beginning in 1988. Cooper expanded the speculations of earlier conspiracists by incorporating government involvement with extraterrestrials as a central theme; which in an interview before his death he said he regretted, since he was tricked into believing that he saw a UFO (presumably organized by US intelligence).

Behold a Pale Horse

In 1991, Cooper's book Behold a Pale Horse was published. It became popular in prisons, especially, according to Mark Jacobson who wrote the biography of Cooper, among Black inmates. Cooper, according to some accounts, influenced generations of Rappers with it.

The Hour of the Time

From 1992 until November 2001, he broadcast his radio show, "The Hour of the Time", via satellite hookups and shortwave frequencies from a studio in his house atop a hill in the small White Mountains town of Eagar, Arizona, 15 miles from the New Mexico border.

CAJI

The "Citizens Agency for Joint Intelligence" (CAJI) was formed by cooper. According to him the biggest private intelligence gathering organization at the time. Presumably people he knew from early Internet message boards shared information from books and documentation to further understanding of history.

Cooper called Alex Jones out as a fraud back in the early 90s when Jones started his career, who in turn told lies about Cooper later on.

9/11

William Cooper announced on 28th June, 2001 on his radio programme, "Hour of the Time", that a major attack on USA was planned and that "Whatever they're going to blame on Usama bin Laden - don't you believe it".

Death

He was fatally shot during a raid on his house on November 5, 2001. Federal authorities reported that Cooper had spent years evading execution of a 1998 arrest warrant, and according to a spokesman for the US Marshals Service, he vowed that "he would not be taken alive".
