Description	The 24th Bilderberg Meeting, 98 guests

The 1975 Bilderberg Meeting was the 24th such meeting and had participants from 14 European countries, the United States, Canada and "several international organizations". It was held at the Golden Dolphin Hotel, Cesme, Turkey. The 1976 Bilderberg was cancelled due to Prince Bernhard's troubles with the Lockheed/Bribery scandals, so the next Bilderberg meeting was the 1977 Bilderberg. The 99 guests included 14 business executives, 31 politicians, 4 financiers, 15 editors/journalists and 13 academics.

Agenda

The 1975 Bilderberg Conference Report has been leaked and is now online. There was only a single topic on the agenda.

1. Inflation: Its Economic, Social and Political Implications

John J. Deutsch started this topic with a paper entitled Inflation, 1950-75: A Social and Political Perspective. The second working paper, by Herbert Giersch, was entitled International Aspects of Inflation. The third paper, by J. Zijlstra, dealt with Inflation and its Impact on Society.

Activities

Margaret Thatcher had been elected leader of the UK Conservative party in February. She attended the Bilderberg for the first time in 1975 and Dennis Healey recalls that she very favourably impressed the group.

Absence

The meeting was opened by The Prince of the Netherlands who read a letter from Professor John Pesmazoglou, who had been invited but was not given a passport by the Greek government, so did not attend.

Bernhard von Biesterfeld	Nazi arms dealer. Alleged bodyguard of Hitler, early member of the SS, requested presidency under Hitler during WW2. An early leader of the Dutch Deep State, founded Dutch division of Operation Gladio named Inlichtingen en Operatiën, co-founded Bilderberg as Steering Committee chairman. Alfons Dalma	Croatian journalist in the WW2 fascist Ustaša goverment. After the war, he changed his name and resettled in Austria, and with astonishing ease became a prominent journalist and editor. Cold warrior, possibly spook.
Arthur Dean	Chairman and senior partner of Sullivan & Cromwell, where he worked closely with John Foster Dulles
John J. Deutsch	Canadian economist who in secret negotiated 1947 trade agreement with the United States, a sweeping liberalization of Canada-U.S. trade (but ultimately rejected). Attended Bilderberg/1965 when president of the Economic Council of Canada, and Bilderberg/1975 at the end of his career.
Klaus von Dohnányi	Attended two Bilderbergs in the 1970s. Mayor of Hamburg in the 1980s.
