The Brussels Forum 2012 was held in Brussels, Belgium on March 23-24, 2012, with over 400 participants.[1][2][3]

Held under Chatham House Rules, the annual forum is not secret, but receives as good as no media coverage. The transatlantic agenda, however, is spread by the participants.

Overview

The Brussels Forum is an annual high-level meeting of "the most influential North American and European political, corporate, and intellectual leaders", and include heads of state, senior officials from the European Union institutions and the member states, U.S. Cabinet officials, Congressional representatives, Parliamentarians, academics, and media.[4]

The big tech companies are also represented, for example with Erika Mann, head of EU policy for Facebook; or Scott J. Carpenter, Principal at Google Ideas.
