Background

Max Kohnstamm was born in Amsterdam, the son of Philip Kohnstamm, a physicist, philosopher and pedagogue of Jewish-German origin. His father was married to one of the daughters of Jean Baptiste August Kessler, who helped create the company now known as Royal Dutch Shell; one of his uncles was Geldolph Adriaan Kessler, who helped create the Dutch steel industry.

Bilderberg

He was a member of the Bilderberg Advisory committee and the Bilderberg Steering committee. Together with Ernst H. van der Beugel he prepared a paper entitled Western Europe and America in the Seventies for the 1970 Bilderberg.[1]

Other deep state connections

He was Secretary General of the Action Committee for the United States of Europe, and President of the European University Institute.
