The 1959 Bilderberg Meeting was the eighth such meeting and the first one in Turkey. It had 60 participants from 10 European countries, the United States and Canada.[1] It was held at Yesilkoy, Turkey.[1] The 68 guests included 13 business executives, 22 politicians, 1 financiers, 5 editors/journalists and 4 academics. The next meeting was the 1960 Bilderberg.
