Paul Nitze was a US deep politician and "cold warrior".[1] He attended the first Bilderberg meeting in 1954 and 8 further Bilderberg meetings.

Career

Author Burton Hersh has said that Nitze was one of two people who met quarterly in Frank Wisner’s office to select the missions that would be approved for The Office of Policy Coordination, the CIA’s early covert operations group.

Paul Nitze attended the first Bilderberg meeting in 1954.

Vietnam War

Nitze was a key planner of the Vietnam War, and William Bundy assisted him in this role.[citation needed]
