Bernard Bajolet is a senior French diplomat and spook. He may be a French deep state operative, which would account for his pretty consist record of being posted in areas of particular deep state interest.
Career
He joined the diplomatic service in 1975,[1] quite possibly after becoming a spook.[citation needed]
