Marcus "Husky" Wallenberg is a Swedish banker and industrialist, and part of the mighty Wallenberg family which controls 40% of the Swedish economy. He is a former member of the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg Group[1].

Career

Wallenberg began his äpprenticeship in the New York City office of Citibank in 1980–1982.[2] He subsequently worked for Deutsche Bank, followed by S. G. Warburg & Co., Citicorp and the family bank SEB Group.[3]

Wallenberg then served as the President and CEO of the family holding company Investor AB from 1999 to 2005.[4] He served as the Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2008[5].

Wallenberg is the Vice Chairman of the Institute of International Finance.[6] He serves on the board of directors of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, Electrolux, Ericsson, LKAB, AstraZeneca, Stora Enso, Saab, and the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
