Private university for wannabe business executives

Bocconi University (Italian: Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi) is a private university in Milan, Italy. Bocconi provides undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate education in the fields of economics, finance, law, management, political science, and public administration. SDA Bocconi, the university's business school, offers MBA and Executive MBA programs. Bocconi University was founded in 1902.

Bocconi is seen as a "prestige" university in Italy, and likes to present itself as the equal of Harvard or Yale. It is private, has high fees, and is frequented by the children of the elites, preoccupied with money and ambition, caring little for culture or thought[1]. Its courses in business administration are supposedly able to place its graduates in the best managerial posts.[2]
