The 1972 Bilderberg Meeting was the 21st such meeting and had 103 participants from 14 Western European countries, the United States Canada and Australia.[1] It was held at the hotel "La Reserve", Knokke, Belgium.

The 1972 Bilderberg Agenda has been leaked and is now online. There was only a single topic on the agenda.[1]
1. The state of the Western community in the light of changing relationships among the non-Communist industrialized countries and the impact of changing power relationships in the Far East on Western security
This topic had working papers entitled "Economic Issues Between Industrialized Countries For The Seventies", "Western Europe And America In The Seventies", "Power Relationships In The Far East: A European View" & "The Changing Configuration Of Power In Asia".
Absence
Professor John Pesmazoglou had been invited but was not given a passport by the Greek government, so did not attend.
