CNN interviewed Jeremy Farrar about how to contain COVID-19 in early February 2020.[3]

Farrar was one of 27 co-signers of The Lancet's February 2020 statement to "strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin". Later it was revealed that Peter Daszak has recruited him to do so.[4]
