Heather Reisman is a Canadian businesswoman, and a multi billionaire through her marriage to investment manager Gerald Schwartz.[1], and a former member of the Bilderberg Steering committee. She participated in all the conferences from 2002-2017.
Reisman has been a governor of the Toronto Stock Exchange and McGill University, and is currently a Director of Onex Corporation.
Family
Reisman is the niece of Simon Reisman, who headed the Canadian delegation that negotiated the 1988 Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement.
In 1982, she married Gerald Schwartz, who later became one of the wealthiest people in Canada. In the 1970s, Schwartz worked at Bear Stearns, where he was mentored by Jerome Kohlberg, Jr., who later became a founding partner in Kohlberg Kravis Roberts[2]. Schwartz left Bear Stearns by 1977, returning to Canada. Along with Izzy Asper, Schwartz co-founded CanWest Global Communications in 1977.

According to Reisman, the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre will be used to improve technology, particularly Artificial intelligence, and how the public can relate to it.
