The 1984 Bilderberg Meeting was the 32nd such meeting and had 116 participants from 19 European countries, the United States, Canada and "various intergovernmental organizations".[1] It was held at the Grand Hotel, Saltsjöbaden, Sweden.

The 1984 Bilderberg Conference Report has been leaked and is now online. There were five topics on the agenda.[1]
1. Western Power and the Middle East: A Case Study in Atlantic Relationships
There were three working papers. The first working paper was by Denis Healey. The second working paper, by Eric Rouleau, was entitled The West, The Gulf and The Iraqi-Iranian War. The third was by Joseph J. Sisco. The discussion was chaired by Winston Lord.
2. The State of Arms Control Negotiations
There were three working papers. The first working paper, by Kenneth L. Adelman, was entitled Forging Ideas for Effective Arms Control. The second was by Christoph Bertram. The third was by Michael Heseltine. The discussion was chaired by Donald S. Macdonald.
3. Future Employment Trends in the Industrialized Democracies
There were two working papers. The first working paper was by Max Geldens. The second, by Alice M. Rivlin, was entitled The Outlook For The Economy And Employment In The United States. The discussion was chaired by John Sainsbury.
4. Current Events: Continental Drift: Economic and Political.
There were no working papers. The discussion was chaired by Vernon Jordan.
