COVID-19 has been used to institute sweeping social change worldwide. This page focuses on regime changes since 2020 believed to have a particular relevance to COVID-19, principally those used to remove COVID-19 dissidents from political office.

Attempted regime changes
- In August 2020, Western powers fully supported an attempted regime change in Belarus, the only country in Europe not to implement lockdowns. Later, after the airline incident involving Ryanair Flight 4978, hard sanctions were implemented.[1]
- In June 2021, the anti-lockdown government of Sweden suddenly collapsed. Prime Minister Stefan Löfven was able to regain confidence of MPs, but stood stand down from office in November 2021.[2]

Government change
- Yoshihide Suga. Resigned soon after recalling Moderna vaccine and being slow in vaccine and lockdown agenda.
- Donald Trump. Altough the COVID-19 deep event and operation to inject everybody started while he was president, things also point to the situation was used to commit fraud to unseat himin the 2020 presidential election.

- Hamed Bakayoko, Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire died in Germany. Some say from poisoning.
- Idriss Déby, President of Chad was killed in battle in April 2021.
- Ambrose Dlamini, Prime Minister of Eswatini died suddenly.
- John Magufuli, "Tanzania's anti-vaxxer president" died suddenly in March 2021.
- Jovenel Moïse, Haitian leader, Assassinated after declining the COVID-19 jab for Haiti. Same week he dies huge shipments of vaccines are sent to country.
- Pierre Nkurunziza, the longest-ruling President of Burundi died suddenly in 2020 after expelling the WHO team and refusing to impose restrictions as a response to COVID-19.
- Goodwill Zwelithini, King of Zulu died of COVID-19.
Minions replaced
A noticeable pattern during the COVID-19 deep event is the the use of minor scandals to allow politicians or other deep state functionaries to be quickly hustled off stage after they have played their role in implementing far more significant — even murderous — misdeeds. The tactic might be a way to avoid giving a fixed target for protestors, while continuing the same policies.
- In May 2020, the UK epidemiologist Neil Ferguson resigned from his position as a government advisor on the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies committee after admitting to undermining the government's messages on "social distancing" by meeting up with his mistress.
- In June 2021, the UK Secretary of State for Health Matt Hancock resigned, allegedly for breaching "social distancing" restrictions by kissing and embracing an aide.
- In August 2021, Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo was replaced byKathy Hochul, after a multiplicity of allegations of sexual misconduct.
- In October 2021, New South Wales leader Gladys Berejiklian was replaced, allegedly because of an earlier corruption scandal.
- In November 2021, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was replaced by Alexander Schallenberg after revelations that public money had been misused to fund politically motivated opinion polls.
- In 2022, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was replaced by Liz Truss and then Rishi Sunak in a matter of weeks.
