Description | The anti lockdown government in Sweden almost fell, but managed to regain confidence from MPs. |
In June 2021 the Swedish government was plunged into a crisis. This was after refusing to put Sweden into a lockdown.
The Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven lost a vote of confidence from the Rikstag after the Left Party withdrew support from the coalition.
He formed a new government on 9 July.
