Heinrich Neisser was President of the Austrian Research Foundation (ÖFG) from1989 to 2013, he is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) and President of the Austrian-Korean Society. Neisser is also chairman of the European Movement Austria (EBÖ)[4], the Austrian Council of the International European Movement (IEB) based in Brussels and chairman of the association Initiative Majority Voting Law and Democracy Reform.
