Phil Murphy is Governor of New Jersey.

Goldman Sachs

Murphy had a 23-year career at Goldman Sachs, where he held several high-level positions and accumulated considerable wealth before retiring in 2006.[1]

He was finance chairman for the Democratic National Committee in the mid-late 2000s.

He was appointed Ambassador to Germany in 2009[2], a country where he previously had been country responsible for Goldman Sachs 1993-1997.

He became governor of New Jersey in 2018.

Policies

As Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy followed the trend and announced COVID Lockdown legislation. When Tucker Carlson asked him "By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights in issuing this order? How do you have the power to do that?" Murphy replied that he “wasn’t thinking of the Bill of Rights.”[3]
