Binnendijk has championed a more aggressive NATO policy, including NATO enlargement, creation of the NATO Rapid Response Force, development of NATO’s Comprehensive Approach (military use of civilian entities, involving international organisations and NGOs..."NATO’s information campaigns must be complemented by sustained and coherent public messages"[1]), deployment of NATO Battle Groups in the Baltic States, and a new NATO readiness initiative.
