The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security' was formerly known as the Johns Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Strategies (1998–2003) and the Center for Biosecurity of UPMC (2003–2013) and the UPMC Center for Health Security from (2013-2017).
Working Group on Readying Populations for COVID-19 Vaccines
In July 2020 a working group on "Readying Populations for COVID-19 Vaccine" produced a report entitled The Public’s Role inCOVID-19 Vaccination:Planning Recommendations Informed by Design Thinking and the Social, Behavioral, and Communication Sciences Working Group which suggested that public health agencies "bundle vaccination with other safety-net services” such as food stamps.
