Jamil Edmond Anderlini is Editor-in-Chief of POLITICO Europe[1], a job he started in October, 2021.[2]

In 2013, Jamil was selected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.[3]

He attended the 2024 Bilderberg meeting.

Background

Anderlini was born in Kuwait and grew up in New Zealand, where he received a BA from Victoria University and a post-graduate diploma in journalism from Auckland University of Technology. He speaks and reads Mandarin Chinese and has lived mostly in Shanghai and Beijing since 2000.[4]

Career

Jamil Anderlini was the Asia Editor of the Financial Times, responsible for all coverage out of Asia. He was previously Beijing Bureau Chief.[5][6]
