Condoleezza Rice, who served as George W. Bush’s National Security Advisor, cancelled her commencement speech at Rutgers University scheduled for 18 May 2004 after students and faculty organised a demonstration to demanded that the university rescind their invitation, based on her role as an instigator of the 2003 Iraq War.[2]
