Background
Fauci attended two Jesuit schools (Regis High School / College of the Holy Cross) before getting his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University.
Career
In 2003, the Institute for Scientific Information stated that from 1983 to 2002, "Fauci was the 13th most-cited scientist among the 2.5 to 3 million authors in all disciplines throughout the world who published articles in scientific journals".[1]
COVID-19 task force
Fauci is a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force established in late January 2020 to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and a "de facto" public health spokesperson for the office of the President.[2]
"Not a major threat to the people of the United States"
Anthony Fauci in an interview with Newsmax on 21 January says that the coronavirus is "not a major threat to the people of the United States".[3]
"For a while, life is not going to be the way it used to be in the United States"
By mid March Fauci was promoting the US Covid Lockdown,[4][5] which has come into effect in many countries of the world as well and that is threatening a global recession by April 2020.[6]
Opposition to drug treatments
In early April 2020 Fauci opposed the use of [[hydroxychloroquine] or chloroquine as a provisional treatment for COVID-19 for severely sick patients[7] although the drug showed promising results.[8] In 2013 he reportedly favoured uses of drugs that delivered good results in emergency rooms when clinical studies were not available.[9]
Mandatory vaccination
“I feel confident that over a period of time we will get a good vaccine, that we will never have to get back to where we are right now.”
Anthony Fauci (8 April 2020) [10]

Azidothymidine | “The reason why only one drug has been made available — AZT — is because it’s the only drug that has been shown in scientifically controlled trials to be safe and effective.” | |
Ebola | “As the epidemic gets more and more formidable and in some cases out of control it is quite conceivable, if not likely, that we may need to deploy the vaccine to the entire country to be able to shut the epidemic down. That is clearly a possibility.” | 6 October 2014 |
Scientism | “Attacks on me are really also 'attacks on science'.” | 10 June 2021 |

Hero image | “His historical cultivation of relationships with gay leaders was one of the factors that made Dr. Fauci a darling of liberals during the early COVID crisis. Numerous other historical and personal factors induced liberals to accept Dr. Fauci without scrutiny. Blind faith in Saint Anthony Fauci may go down in history as the fatal flaw of contemporary liberalism and the destructive force that subverted American democracy, our constitutional government, and global leadership.” | John F. Kennedy Jr. | 2021 |

Document:Was there a Wuhan lab leak? | blog post | 1 June 2021 | Jonathan Cook | No meaningful lessons will be learnt about what really happened in Wuhan. Maintaining the illusion of truth will continue to take precedence over uncovering the truth. And for that reason we are doomed to keep making the same screw-ups. As the next pandemic will doubtless attest. |

Marjorie Taylor Greene from Twitter | Article | 14 August 2021 | Libby Emmons | The leading American feminist organisation is pressuring Twitter to remove Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from their platform. She stands accused of promoting "conspiracy theories" about COVID over her scepticism of Fauci. She has been censored before. How much longer is there before she is permanently banned? |
