Ahmed Abdel-Latif is an Egyptian diplomat who was Director-General of the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution (CCCPA).[1][2]

Career

A career diplomat since 1997, he has a long standing experience in multilateral affairs with a focus on global issues including sustainable development, trade, energy, innovation and knowledge governance.

At the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked at the Departments of International Cooperation for Development, United Nations Affairs and International Economic Relations. From 2000 to 2004, he was posted to the Permanent Mission of Egypt to the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva where he worked on disarmament, trade, health and intellectual property issues. He also worked at the Office of the Spokesman of the Prime Minister from 2005 to 2006.[1]

For more than twenty years, Ahmed Abdel-Latif has taken an active part in conferences on sustainable development, climate change, innovation, green technologies and intellectual property and has been a frequent speaker on these topics. [1]
