Dr Deepti Gurdasani is a clinical epidemiologist and senior lecturer in machine learning at Queen Mary University of London.
She incorrectly predicted that, due to the delta variant, covid hospitalisations would ‘reach 2-3 times the January peak’ in June. She was out by a factor of 40. She appeared regularly [When?] on BBC, ITV and Sky.
Career
In 2013, Gurdasani joined the Wellcome Sanger Institute as a postdoctoral fellow.[2]
During COVID she has promoted the harshest lockdowns and mask mandates. She has been a massive advocate of rushing the process of approving COVID-19/Vaccines. She wanted all schools closed until children were vaccinated.[3]
