Robert O. Work, as United States Deputy Secretary of Defense, ordered a 2015 report into Pentagon spending. Entitled “Transforming DoD’s Core Business Processes for Revolutionary Change” it revealed $125 billion in "wasteful" spending. It emerged in December 2016 after being initially suppressed.[1]
