Baron Pierre de Bonvoisin attended the first Bilderberg. He was president of the most important bank ever to have existed in Belgium, Société Générale de Belgique, and councilor to King Baudouin.[1] He was father of Benoît de Bonvoisin.[2]

Background

Pierre Bonvoisin's father was Alexandre Gallopin, director and governor of the Banque de la Societe Generale de Belgique.

He was a 1927 fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation, to study in the United States[3].

Career

Pierre Bonvoisin was a professor of economics at the University of Louvain.

He was president of the most important bank ever to have existed in Belgium, the Société Générale de Belgique, and president of the Belgian chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce.[1]

He was made baron in 1957.[4]
