Jean Drapier was Principal Private Secretary to Belgian Prime Minister Paul-Henri Spaak and one of the early leaders of the European Movemement.[1][2] He went to 3 of the first 4 Bilderbergs.

Activities

Drapier, a Counselor at the Court of Appeal, was on a list of people requested by the exile government in London. He arrived in the UK from occupied Belgium in July 1944, through France and Spain.[3]

He became Principal Private Secretary to Belgian Prime Minister Paul-Henri Spaak.

He participated in the Congress of Europe in The Hague on 8 May 1948, where he keen on excluding the Eastern European countries from a federal Europe because they were not genuine democracies[4]

Jean Drapier, now secretary-general of the European Movement, went on trips to the United States as part of the US covert support for these groups.[5]

He was an administrator of the College of Europe.[6][7]
