Daniel N. Hoffman is an American former intelligence officer who became a Fox News contributor in May 2018. Before joining Fox News, Hoffman had a career with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was three times station chief, including station chief in Moscow, and a senior executive Clandestine Services officer.[1][2][3]
Education
Hoffman graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in History. He has a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Career
Hoffman led large-scale HUMINT (human intelligence gathering) and technical programs and his assignments included postings in the former Soviet Union, Europe, and war zones in the Middle East and South Asia. In addition, Hoffman was director of the CIA Middle East and North Africa Division.
He was three times station chief, including station chief in Baghdad and Moscow.[4]
Russiagate
In 2017, Hoffman had his own twist on the Russiagate psyop, suggesting that Russia may have seeded the Steele dossier, but as a "discoverable influence operation rather than some effort to establish a clandestine channel for collusion."[5]
