Dominic Rennie Raab is a British politician serving as the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs since July 2019. He previously served in the Cabinet as Brexit Secretary in 2018. A member of the Conservative Party, he has also been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Esher and Walton since the 2010 United Kingdom General Election.[1]

Raab was born to a Czech-born Jewish refugee.
Career
Dominic Raab, Foreign Secretary and de facto UK Deputy Prime Minister. In April 2020, Raab became de facto UK Prime Minister as Boris Johnson was hospitalised with COVID-19.[2]
He was a Foreign Office lawyer and David Davis protégé.[3]
Opinions
Brexit
Raab was a Vote Leave campaigner. He quit Theresa May’s Cabinet in protest over the Brexit deal he helped negotiate.
