Official narrative
A biographer referred to the Bushes as "the most successful political dynasty in American history".[1]
Alternative opinions
Researcher Mark Gorton suggests that crime is the Bush family business, and that George H. W. Bush is in charge of the huge criminal network which he refers to as "the enterprise", using a phrase borrowed from Oliver North. A section of one of Gorton's essays is entitled "The Bush Family's Criminal Rampage Through History", beginning with Prescott Bush's financial alliance with German industrialist Fritz Thyssen.[2]
