Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger is a German journalist and editor.

He was Foreign Editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung from 2001 until 2021. He is part of a number of transatlantic networks, including the Atlantic Initiative, Atlantik-Brücke, and the Trilateral Commission. He was a Marshall Memorial Fellow from the spooky German Marshall Fund in 1990.[1]
