Leif Valdemar Johansson is a Swedish businessman who was President and CEO of the Volvo Group from 1997 to 2011, and is Chairman of Ericsson since 2011 and Non-executive Chairman of AstraZeneca plc since June 2012.[1]

Leif Johansson made a big stock purchase shortly before Cevian Capital bought a major stock holding in Ericsson[2], where Johansson was Chairman of the Board. Johansson bought Ericsson shares for SEK 2 million just under three weeks before the fund stepped in as the new major shareholder. According to the Swedish financial regulator's transparency register, Leif Johansson bought 35,000 B shares in the telecommunications company on 12 May.
