Roberto Poli is an Italian corporate executive with ties to some of the most important families in Italy and their family companies.[1]

Education

Poli received a BA in Economics at Florence University.[1]

Career

He is Founder and Chairman since inception in 1969 of Poli e Associati, one of the oldest Italian Corporate Finance boutiques, specializing in corporate finance, which in the course of over forty years of activity has engaged in various capacities in generational handovers, M&A and debt restructuring operations in many of the most important Italian companies, listed and unlisted.

He was Chairman of the Board of Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera SpA (1984) and of Publitalia SpA as well as a member of the board of directors or on the board of statutory auditors of some of the major Italian companies, including the Institute for Industrial Reconstruction, Fondazione Cariplo, Merloni Elettrodomestici, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and Perennius Capital Partners SGR.
