Daniel N. Hoffman is an American former intelligence officer who became a Fox News contributor in May 2018. Before joining Fox News, Hoffman had a distinguished career with the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was three times station chief, including station chief in Moscow, and a senior executive Clandestine Services officer.[1][2][3]

Education

Hoffman graduated from Bates College with a B.A. in History. He has a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Career

Hoffman led large-scale HUMINT (human intelligence gathering) and technical programs and his assignments included tours of duty in the former Soviet Union, Europe, and war zones in the Middle East and South Asia. In addition, Hoffman was director of the CIA Middle East and North Africa Division.

He was three times station chief, including station chief in Moscow.
