Susan Wojcicki was the CEO of YouTube from 2014 to 2023. Under her leadership the company implemented censorship and demonetization.

She had an estimated net worth of $815 million.[1]

Activities

In 2019 she gave herself an award for free expression.[3]

In 2022 she reassured the WEF that she was interested "in making sure that users can get authoritative and the right information.".[4]

Death

Wojcicki died in August 2024 of lung cancer.[5] This was just months after the overdose death of her 19-year-old son Marco Troper.[6]
