Count Robert Pitti-Ferrandi was a French executive for the Rothschild bank. He was an assistant, friend, advisor and confidant of Baron Edmund de Rothschild, and possibly a member of the Bilderberg steering committee.
Background
Robert Pitti-Ferrandi was born in Italy in 1923.[1] He was the last heir of the famous Florentine noble family of Pitti. He was from the Corsican branch of the family.[2][3]
Career
In 1974, Robert Pitti-Ferrandi was a representative of Baron Edmund de Rothschild.[4]
"Robert Pitti undertook since his youth a brilliant diplomatic career, then he spent twenty years as assistant and friend, advisor and confidant of Edmond de Rothschild, one of the most important members of the famous dynasty of bankers. But it is in the world of international finance that the Count has reached the highest levels, when he became a member of the organizing committee of the Bilderberg meetings."[5]
In 1968 he ran as candidate in Alpes-Maritime for Progrès et démocratie moderne[6], a French centrist political group of the National Assembly[7]
Pitti-Ferrandi, one of Edmond de Rothschild's most trusted advisers, was asked to represent the interests of Compagnie Financière du Groupe Edmond de Rothschild at the 1974 Bilderberg conference. He subsequently took part in four other Bilderberg Conferences between 1977 and 1980.[8]
